Shaleen qualified with a BSc in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nairobi and an MSc in Global Wildlife Health and Conservation from the University of Bristol. She has practiced in the wildlife sector for over 6 years in Kenya.
Role on project: Leading wildlife ranger trainings.
Dr Shaleen Angwenyi

Wildlife Veterinarian
Current position and expertise: Wildlife veterinarian with 22 years of experience. Stephen works in northern Kenya where there is a huge interaction between human, wildlife and domestic animals and works following the One Health approach. He is the Kenya Program Manager for San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance conservation programs.
Role on project: Co-leading the system design and evaluation.

Veterinary Epidemiologist
Current position and expertise: Jointly appointed between the University of Liverpool where he is Professor of Veterinary Infectious Diseases and the International Livestock Research Institute in Kenya. Eric manages a range of field-orientated projects researching disease transmission and control at the interface between animals and human beings.
Role on project: Providing technical guidance and expertise.
Prof. Eric Fèvre

Wildlife Vet & Disease Ecologist
Current position and expertise: Research scientist and wildlife veterinarian with the Smithsonian's Global Health Program, and adjunct assistant professor at Yale School of Public Health. Leads projects in East Africa that aim to understand the impacts of environmental change on human and animal health, and develop solutions to address this.
Role on project: Conceived the WHW concept and leading the platform's strategic development.
Dr James Hassell

Veterinary Researcher
Current position and expertise: Veterinary researcher and field associate at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). Mitchelle has experience in planning and implementation of field activities, supporting data collection for AMR studies, designing and testing field data collection tools, project monitoring activities, data analysis and organizing and conducting trainings in field and laboratory settings.
Role on project: Assisting with project coordination activities including field trainings and community data collection.
Dr Mitchelle Kasudi

Wildlife Veterinarian
Current position and expertise: Director of the Smithsonian's Global Health Program, and board-certified zoo veterinarian at the Smithsonian's National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute. Suzan co-led development of the Smithsonian's Animal Morbidity and Mortality Monitoring Program in Uganda (AMMP), which was a precursor to the EarthRanger Health platform.
Role on project: Providing technical guidance and expertise.
Dr Suzan Murray

Disease Ecologist
Current position and expertise: Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut Pasteur. Uses ecological and epidemiological approaches to understand disease transmission at the human - domestic animal - wildlife interface and guide surveillance efforts.
Role on project: Co-leading the system design and evaluation.
